Shades of red, blue and green are combined in this simple yet dressy card. Beginning stampers will find it easy to make; more experienced ones will enjoy experimenting with their choice of colors on the flower.

1. Fold one sheet of Midnight Blue cardstock in half to create a card. Emboss the lower part of the front with the Diagonal Stripes embossing folder. (Hint: This embossing folder will sometimes cut through the cardstock instead of simply embossing it. Experiment with the thickness of your sandwich to avoid this problem.)
2. Stamp 'On Your Birthday Calligraphy' with Hunter Green ink on a strip of Wasabi Muslin. Layer onto Toast Muslin, Vanilla Muslin and then onto the card face.
3. Using dies from the Tudor Rose Collection, cut two flowers (a solid and a matching silhouette) from Ice White Iridescent Pearl paper. Rub the solid flower with Antique Linen Distress ink and use a wet paint brush to spread the color around. Add smears of Fired Brick Distress ink pad and once again, spread the ink with a wet paintbrush. Layer the white silhouette on top of the solid flower. Use the leaf die from the set to cut leaves from Christmas Tree Muslin. Layer the flower on the leaves and then onto the card.
