Cozy Evening Card

Know a snow lover? Make them a card with a "Recipe for a Cozy Evening." Combine it with snowflakes and a snow scene, and for a special touch, tuck a packet of hot chocolate mix inside the card. They'll love it!

#1W5-25 Smooth White Cardstock
#4MB-10 Midnight Blue Cardstock
#Mus-039 Blue Note Muslin Cardstock
#GLZ-FD Fairy Dust Glitz Cardstock
#5WV-10 White Vellum Paper
#VF-OB Onyx Black Ink Pad
#S5-205 Delicate Doilies Cutting Dies
#CH-Shimmers Pearlescent Shimmers Chalk Set
#GL387 Christmas 1 Extra Fine Glitter Set

1. Stamp Winter Countryside on the card face, using black ink. Color lightly with chalks and colored pencils.
2. Stamp Cozy Evening on white cardstock, using black ink. Color with chalks and pencils and trim out. Layer on Blue Note Muslin and Midnight Blue cardstock. Set aside.
3. Use dies from the Delicate Doilies die set to make 2 snowflakes from Fairy Dust Glitz and 2 more from White Vellum. Layer the Fairy Dust snowflakes on Blue Note Muslin and Midnight Blue cardstock. Attach to the left of the card.
4. Attach parts of the vellum snowflakes on the right of the card, at the top and bottom. Add glue to the snowflakes and sprinkle with white glitter from the glitter set. Let dry. Add Cozy Evening at an angle.


You did a beautiful job on these cards... I did my first paper piecing just this past week and it is so easy.... sorry I had not tried it before...Again, Love these cards!!!!
